tricks are for kids
Recently I’ve found myself in two serious traffic jams, and have barely noticed. I was aware of time passing, and of little forward progress. Like driving from there to here, and dawdling along the way. Here’s another word – frolicking.
This doesn’t feel like teaching an old dog new tricks. No. It’s like whispering to the old dog that there are, indeed, new tricks. So he may wonder about them all night long.
