land of a 1000 dances

This morning I felt the feeling I was reading the specific, exact pages which have been waiting for me to read them this very day for 75 plus years. The feeling was clear. Here’s a quote from what I read, though this particular passage didn’t, of itself, bring me to that wonder of something like, “You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.” It’s just kind of cool.

“What is nearest and dearest to us can be the hardest to deal with. Fatigue and disinclination can make the subtleties of communication feel as difficult as saving Tibet. We may be unable to save Tibet, but at least we can listen to our partner’s recital of his or her woes of today. We all vary in our capacity to help others, but whether we join Amnesty International or help our neighbor to get her DVD player to work, we give hands to our awakening when we make an effort on others’ behalf.” – Ross Bolleter, ‘Five Ranks’
