Old Saying
A few people I knew long ago use to say that if you walked into a room full of people and everyone had thrown their troubles in a pile on the floor, you’d be lucky if you grabbed your own when you left.
What do ya think?
Wednesday.

Took me a while to grasp that. Maybe due to my age and a fairly recent resolve not to share anyone’s personal baggage and never show my own, I wouldn’t enter that room if I knew that was about to happen. And if I was in a room and it happened, I’d get out without grabbing anything or answering any calls from anyone there. One on one, yes. But a roomful? No way.
Hmm, I think that’s true. Why do I think that? Because we, the people, generally have a lot of empathy for others who are experiencing personal troubles and will often take those trouble on as we ponder how to help the hurting person, thus walking home with their troubles.
