The late Carl Wilson asked his brother Brian, “Why do you think we (The Beach Boys) succeeded in such a big way?” Brain answered, “Well, I think the music celebrated the joy of life in a real simple way.”

Third brother Dennis, in the opening line of his (and The Beach Boys) song “Forever” sang, “If every word I said could make you laugh, I’d talk forever.”
