Gibberish being just alright with me, like that Doobie Brothers song except a little different. That saying, “No news is good news,” feeling a little off this Thursday. My position is no news is no news.

I had the most lovely conversation with my son Cameron on the phone late yesterday afternoon. He’s an amazing guy, and his ongoing growth as a filmmaker is something to see. I’ve been offered a couple of his documentary bits not out for the public yet, and they’re filled with love and caring – an all of us in this together-ness, and “stunning” does not feel like an exaggeration.

I heard this some months ago – “Take the role of host. When you take the position of host you know the guests are arriving. And you get to be courteous.”

Off to the ocean for a long walk in a few. Sometimes pods of dolphin show up to share the experience, and Ann’s heart becomes bigger with delight. The guest and host thing.
