keeping on
I wrote yesterday about walking along Sixth Avenue, quite early, and seeing the striking silhouette of the California Tower over there in Balboa Park. I’d always thought/known it was the Balboa Park Tower, honoring and bowing to it for years from afar as such. While writing the Blog I googled it, and lo, the true name is California Tower. Live and learn.
Last night, with every intention to drop into bed, quite early, and catch up on illness-deprived sleep, I somehow fell my YouTube way into a Beatles song from their “Love” album. And then another, and then another, now with headphones, and dizzy and lost and rather stunned by what I was hearing. I had never heard it. I had never known about a musical show for which it was arranged and produced – the devoted, loving efforts of father and son George and Giles Martin. Crazy, and, live and learn.
If I get to keep on keeping on for another two weeks, from today, I will have a birth certificate giggling at the number 75. And look at older me, living and learning all over the place – eyes still seeing, ears still hearing; knees and butt and toes still scrambling with big-eyed, child-like wonder.

what song were you listening to from the album? or which ones were you’re favorite? <3
Pretty much everyone.
