friday’s house-keeping

Apparently, yesterday’s post here in the Blog did not travel out into the world, out to the subscribers, out into Thursday. The machinery of this site shows it did, in every show-able place. And yet – emptiness can be quite clear. So, I will copy and paste yesterday’s post below, an amended title, fully aware that there may be two days of a couchsurfing vacuum.

In my Morning Pages, just a few minutes ago, I pondered this development, call it, and the thought arrived – host and guest – what if every post posted here has something in it just for me. Like, it is always, has always been, will forever be, just for me. Some wise (includes goofy and pointless) suggestion out from the storehouse of it all. Then, Ha!!

I quote my long-time brother-in-law Everett – “There’s a lot to it.”

talk talk – from Thursday

In an online group last night, talking about each shining moment of a day, someone said, “Language feels beside the point.” Either for Christmas ’22 or my birthday ’23, Ann gave me a present of a journal, titled, “There is a voice that doesn’t use words.” Here in the Blog words are a necessity. Out there into the days of the world, I am aware of all my talk, and have ever-so-slightly been bringing a soulful intention to talk less. There’s so much chatter out there, it’s one thing I can do.

One reason why I love early morning walks by myself – it’s the birds doing most of the talking.
