hobnobbing with you

The other day I wrote that I had no interest in offering opinions here at Couch Surfing. Rather, my hope was/is to be sharing cool and hopefully engaging and catchy stories. And yet, here I am this Wednesday morning with a really cool story I heard yesterday while at work, and deciding not to tell it when I can walk through some of my ‘To Do’ list for the day instead.

“A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.” So said Ralph Waldo Emerson – a Massachusetts cat like me – and his opinion arrived a few minutes ago, like a free pass, when I decided to let you know I’m going to dust off my backpack and load it with borrowed books and implements of writing, and walk down and over to the Mission Hills branch of the San Diego library rather than drive, this being both a save the planet thing and a save money everywhere possible, kid, cause I’m broke and it’s like that, thing.

And such a big plus with the chance to wake up and get up another day, with a relatively open, don’t-know mind, and getting to dish on the word “hobgoblin”, and especially the “hob” within it. See the blogger here now, freakin’ clueless as to the “hob of “hob.”

Dear reader – if you can shed even a bit of clarity regards those three letters, your turn to share. Just right there below. I promise – I’ll be all ears,
